same day I swear, if I see another Physics equation, I am gonna grab an apple from the kitchen and throw it into the window of the neighbour that lives opposite.
Though I don't see the connection between the two. ?? Oh and by the way, if you stared in horror at the picture I posted in the previous entry of my sister who looked like she had cockroaches in her bra, I gotta tell you that she doesn't look like this all the time. She has the untold ability to morph into a rabbit in the garden, or to a pig from Pulau Tekong, or to a dragon from a pot of curry, or to some sort of character from Mean Girls. If she sees this, I am so gonna be thrown into the river opposite my block. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!My life is in DANGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Waaait a minute. What am I afraid of? I still have Super Dad to save me if that happens. One roar from him and my scheming sis will turn from dragon to a heap of dust. Heh. Heh. Heh. Red Alert. Weirdo sis approaching. *scrollscrollscroll* She just passed me with a loud fart. I scroll back to what I'm typing. If you happened to read an entry before this which was a bit different, sorry! There was this problem with the typing and I had to get back to type a new entry after dinner. Tuning in to the last episode of Jiu Shi Gu Xiang Chun. I'm doing it to push my mono-emotions (thanks to physics and other subjects) to vibrant mode. This show has this uncanny ability to bring tears to my eyes. Also to prevent the wastage of an apple. The lump is fast approaching up my throat. =/ @ 12:28 PM
Weirdo sis Weirdo Sis She is only but eleven But sometimes I think that she is seven She talks animatedly to the dead Like they are all her lovely steads "Good night, jie jie" that's what she says She dreams of a land of dogs and hay Weird as she may seem to be But hell she's still the cutest sis. Friday blues Friday Blues
Friday!!!!!! My only saviour in present times of unstability and resentment.
What is wrong with me?? Even the sentences I form has this hint of Combined Humanities. P=IV?? W=F x D. 2+6-(8 x 9)cos67.... The speed of B relative to A!!!! Yes. it is confirmed. I am suffering from the acute unable-to-differentiate-studies-from-reality syndrome. Differentiate!!! Isn't that in A math? *eyes open wide* * * * Earlier in school the guys in my class were bloody absorbed in their newly invented game, Xi Sua Sua squared. (what i call it) The game goes like this: You grab a partner, play scissors, paper, stone. But instead of saying scissors blah blah, you say: " XI SUA SUA XI SUA SUA!! XI SUA SUA XI SUA SUA!!" You have to shout when you say it; it adds this element of excitement. The rhythm is somewhat like: 1, 23456! 1, 23456! And you don't use the scissors/paper/stone sign. Instead, you use your fingers to show numbers repeatedly, until you win your friend by getting the right combination of numbers. The combination is somewhat like: 5 wins 1 3 wins 2 4 wins 3 2 wins 1 . . . . Sometimes my fellow classmates just amaze me. Change topic! Just now at dinner my auntie was going on about how she accidentally saw my dad peeing in the toilet. " So paiseh you know!!! " I felt something like deja vu. xi sua sua xi sua sua, xi sua sua xi sua sua... Tuesday, July 27, 2004 @ 7:28 PM
The Sha Village Episode
I'm really just trying to catch your attention. What I am about to blog about is just the annual council dinner that happened last Saturday. =D It was FABULOUS. Not because of the food, of course. (maybe perhaps just the first course--soup) But mostly because of the people. You guys rock!! But anyway, the place was at Sha Village. ;) It was pretty posh, with the tables lined with numerous eating utensils that were alien to me. There's this huge fork and spoon, then this other weird-shaped spoon (I think) and yadda yadda. Let me show you.
Ta-da!! See the spoons and whatever? Ma fan... @ 7:27 PM

Eat full full, smile happy happy. *burp* Yea, it was good. After that I headed home with the help of Enci's dad and oddly, I kept smiling throughout the ride. What a nice end to a wonderful dinner. Friday, July 23, 2004 @ 7:45 PM
Shortly after that previous entry, I came down with a fever+flu+cough. It was utter torture.
But now I'm a-okay!!! =D Seems like the whole world has fallen sick, though. Anyway, yesterday I came up with a study timetable, which will take effect from next Monday. It's utter torture, too. =/ Bleah. Not looking forward to the loooong five weeks. There's this stuffed dog in my house. Not like it's the only one, but this one's really special. It responds. You must be, like, whoa. When you shout to it, or clap, or pat it's head, or even when you receive an sms and your handphone's near it, it actually barks, wags its tail and its ears flap. Cool, eh? And my weirdo little sister gets a kick out of it. When she reaches home from school she'd shout, "BAILEY, I'M HOOOOOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" And with that voice of course the dog barked la. Then she'd get so excited and rush forward to give Bailey (it's name, duh) a big smooch. Once I tried, but to my surprise I got no response. And weirdo sis smirked at me and said, "Nananipoopoo... he only responses to me." Then I realised someone switched off its switch. I'll say more about weirdo sis (got loads to tell), but right now I'm too jittery. 'Cos tomorrow's there's the annual student council dinner!!! Can't wait. ;) Will post pictures (thankew lala) next week, I guess. For now, its books again. Life is so boring. Saturday, July 17, 2004 @ 6:00 PM
the MOST eventful week... eVeR The most eventful week... ever!!
Despite the 'O's zooming closer to me, I still managed to have lots of fun this past week. It's probably one that I'll never forget... Lemme say why!! First of all, CJ, yinsing, joanna, enci, jeremy (guitarist) and myself took part in the Chinese songfest held in school in conjuncture with the mother tongue week. And guess what we got???!!! A friggin' SECOND!!!! How cool is that??!!!! Hahahahaahahahaha.. We'd probably get first if my voice didn't go haywire in the first two words I sang. *wink* In case you don't know, I have a slight problem of stage paranoia. When I look at >20 eyes staring at me, my heart starts thumping for whatever reason, and my voice follows the vibration of my heart. So what happens is that when I try to sing, the words come out sounding like staccato notes. Horrible, isn't it?? So when we sang last thursday, I tried to imagine something funny, like my Math teacher in a bikini. I think it worked!! And no, I'm not telling you who that Math teacher is. Mwaha. ;) Plus I nearly saw Mr Ferdinand!!! Well what happened was that we heard about him being in the school office on thursday, and the bunch of us choir members practically flew to the foyer to wait for him. But we didn't meet, 'cos later we had to sing and all. So if you're reading this sir, welcome back!!!!! And today.... THE 5TH STUDENT COUNCIL INVESTITURE was held!!!!! The bulk of what made the past week eventful were the practices we had to prepare for the investiture. It was very memorable, esp. yesterday 'cos everyone was working so hard to make sure everything went well. But... Alisha sprained her knee during PE lesson!! When she told us she couldn't dance with us anymore, I almost died. Our last performance as councillors, and she wouldn't be joining us???!!! What injustice!!! But what happened happened, so we swopped positions and all, and danced today. What can I say? It was totally fab!! We even had a special addition to our dance to commemorate Alisha. Okay okay we didn't la. CJ really fell during the dance 'cos the floor was bloody slippery, and when I saw her sprawled on the floor I couldn't help laughing!!! I got the shock of my life. ;) Tears, laughter, falls and blah blah blah... and it all ended, just like this. *snap fingers* You bet I'll miss my dearest ex-cos. All of us have grown loads in the board, and shared so much fun together. It was hectic, but worth all my time and effort. And finally... I AIN"T A COUNCILLOR ANYMORE!!!! WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Now I shall let the devil in me be unleashed. *evil grin* Oh, man. I feel sick and tired now. Ciao, for now. P.S: I deleted the taggie 'cos it was kinda boring.

juicy juicy scandalous Cross-country 2004
During the school's annual cross-country meet held yesterday at the MacRitchie Resevoir, the guys in my class kept repeating this phrase:
"Juicy juicy scandalous!!!!"
"Juicy what?"
"Juicy juicy scandalous!! Juicy juicy scandalous!!!"
And they went on and on and on until I couldn't get it out of my head. Turned out Ms Vicki Loh said it to them and they loved it so much that it became a pet phrase. Now 4/2 has a pet phrase!!! I lurve it.
Juicy Juicy Scandalous---Class 4/2. A class of scandals.
How did the meet go? It was totally fantastic!!
Okay I felt so only because I got a medal. *big grin*
You can't blame me; it was the first time I got a sports medal in 6 years!! The last time I received a sports medal was in pri 4 for this ball relay win.
Ball relay?? You've never heard of it right... so now you understand why I loved yesterday's run!! Hahahahahaa... I can grin like this forever... ;)
Plus my class was runner-up in the girl's category!!! Ole ole ole ole!!!
You might be thinking why I only received a medal now, when the cross-country meet was held every year. Well..I thought since it was my last year running with my cssmates, why not run my best and perhaps get something to remember? And so I ran!!
Yea, so I ran!!
Actually it wasn't that simple. I ran like hell.
The bloody 3.5km trail was full of falling leaves and mud and uphills and moisture and carbon monoxide and oxides of nitrogen and also two monkeys, I nearly died.
And the monkeys scared the shit out of me. But I just kept silent and ran past them, praying like mad they wouldn't detect anything on me and chase me down the trail.
But on second thought, if they did, I would have ran for my life and maybe emerge 1st with a huge trophy!!!
I'd rather have a medal, thank you very much.
Anyway... After the meet 18 of 4/2ians went to Clementi for dinner. When we reached the hawker centre and we told the hawker auntie that there were 18 people, her eyes grew to the size of durians.
Very hurriedly she got 4 tables joined together and the 18 of us sat together outside the hawker centre like one big family. It was great fun!! We ate and yakked and laughed away, enjoying ourselves in the good food and the coolness of the night.
Then it got too cool and it rained.
Thank goodness we gobbled up our food in the nick of time!! The night ended with a few group pictures and another round of "juicy juicy scandalous"-es, with myself reaching home at around 9pm.
Having class spirit feels damned good!! *big grin* Thursday, July 08, 2004 @ 4:43 PM
![]() The wonder of neoprints. Somehow they make annoying scars and pimples and pockmarks and ruts and potholes disappear. With this picture, we can probably enter neutrogena's beautiful skin contest. Okay I shall stop making you vomit. Today was "Be Youself Day", where everyone in school was allowed to wear anything besides the dreaded blue uniform. Guess what I wore?? A blue school-based tee and my school skirt. I am just so patriotic. To my school, that is. In the morning we had some sort of a youth day concert, and guess once more what the teachers performed for us?? A Taiji session. How youthful!!! But I'd have to admit the little skit of the new teachers dressing up as students and fooling around on stage was pretty funny!! Hahaha.. Oh shucks. My piano teacher is here. Cya!! @ 4:19 PM
She asked me not to bother her anymore.
Fine. Saturday, July 03, 2004 @ 3:46 PM
movie etiquette *pressing C on the piano constantly* Spiderman... spiderman... does whatever a spider can...
I just love the movie!! Headed down to Lot 1 to watch it with Angela yesterday.
But one of the things we hated most during the 2-hr movie was the audience. They were the most horrible audience we ever came across!!!
Firstly, some stupid kids sitting above us were throwing popcorn seeds down the seats. Hello??? Do we look like fishes to you?????!!!
And it didn't help that I kept hearing giggles, sniggers and whispers throughout the whole movie. Go home if you don't wanna watch the show la!!
Plus an occasional ring from a handphone. Not to mention this couple sitting in front of us smooching away like nobody's business.
Then there was this scene where Spidey executed some fight moves; some of the people clapped so hard I thought that maybe that was their first time watching an action movie. Bloody irritating.
It seems that some Singaporeans really lack basic movie/concert etiquette. Perhaps the MOE can consider putting it in our syllabus. Then it wouldn't be so embarrassing. |
